The Tucson Barbershop eXperience Men's Chorus has announced a new Director for its performing chorus.  He is Jay Nelsestuen, an experienced choral singer, musician and barbershop director.  A native-born Tucsonan, Jay holds a Bachelor of Music degree in composition from The Master's University, where he also studied choral conducting under Dr. Paul Plew.  His background is chiefly in choral music and his compositions have been internationally performed. 
 
“TBx has been delighting audiences in Tucson with 4-part barbershop harmony for 77 years", said Mr. Nelsestuen. "I'm honored to serve as their musical director as we seek to Keep the Whole World Singing.”
